Mother Attempts To Sell 13-Year-Old Daughter’s Virginity

It’s not always companies and media campaigns that are trying to sexually exploit children. Parents are unfortunately guilty of the practice as well –especially when it comes to daughters.

A 33-year-old mom out of Salt Lake City Utah has pleaded guilty to two counts of sexual exploitation of a minor after asking her teenage daughter to pose for a man in a bra and thong. The then 13 year old consented to modeling for the man twice, and the mother even photographed the girl sending him the pictures — which he then shared with others interested in purchasing them.

Earlier in 2011, the mother offered up her daughter’s virginity to him for $10,000, which the teenager contested. The details of the transaction were discovered on the mother’s cell phone by her boyfriend who turned her into authorities. Charges were filed against the mother in May of this year and she has been imprisoned since her arrest.

Prosecutors have dropped the sexual exploitation counts in a plea bargain, but she now faces two first-degree felony counts of aggravated sex abuse of a child and life in prison. Her sentencing, scheduled on December 5th, could put her away for up to 30 years.

Lock her up and throw away the key, I say.
