The Duchess Of Cornwall Just Gave Kate Middleton A Birthing Deadline
Eve Vawter and I can’t be the only ones who keep compulsively checking our Google alerts for royal baby birthing. That due date has allegedly come and gone which leaves those of us with royal baby fever keeping an eye on those standby helicopters. We’re all waiting with you, Kate Middleton. But Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, and stepmother-in-law to K Middy has just given the soon-to-be mommy a second due date.
On a trip to Little Harbour children’s hospice at Porthpean, Camilla reportedly told fans that a royal bundle will be on our screens come this time next week:
As she gave an impromptu speech to the assembled guests, she said: ‘We are all just waiting by the telephone. We are hopeful that by the end of the week he or she will be here.’
A Clarence House spokeswoman later confirmed the comment.
No word yet on whether this means Camilla has simply decided that the original P.O.C will be here by the end of the week — just because she says so and she’s a duchess — or whether she is privy to some secret royal baby knowledge. Like K Middy’s hypothetical induction date? Or she has personally chatted with Kate’s OBGYN? Or whether she is tired of waiting like the rest of us.
