Object Of My Affection: Missoni Bugaboo

Okay, there are lots of good reasons why I really, really need a Missoni Bugaboo. First of all, groovy patterns and high-contrast colors? So good for my baby’s cognitive development. Second, it will make it easier to find my stroller in the Bugaboo parking lot outside Mommy group in case of emergency. And, finally, it will make my stroller go faster in a race because of the aerodynamic patterns.

Following on the heels of other completely unnecessary-but-you-totally-wanted-them-anyways-high-fashion collabs with the likes of Marc Jacobs and Neiman Marcus, Bugaboo and the Italian fashion house Missoni are releasing limited-editon (natch) Bugaboo special collection accessory sets, featuring a bright block print for the Bugaboo Cameleon sun canopy and bassinet apron, or vibrant zigzags for the Bugaboo Bee sun canopy. Both collections come complete with a knitted Missoni blanket.

The bad news? You’re going to have to wait until July. Don’t worry: you can show baby some, like, books or something until his next developmental toy comes in.

From $199 at Neiman Marcus. Bugaboo.com.
