Kids Named ‘Adolf Hitler’ And ‘Aryan Nation’ Still In Foster Care

There are some really messed up people out there. Like the New Jersey parents who had the brilliant idea of naming two of their kids “Adolf Hitler” and “JoyceLynn Aryan Nation.” I’m pretty sure the term WTF was invented for this exactly. No, really WTF were they thinking?! I suppose the names are memorable, that’s for sure. And they’re quite unique. But, yeah, they’re also Nazis. Nazis! Not so cool, if you ask me.

Anyway, the parents Heath and Deborah Campbell lost custody of their three children back in 2009. That’s because they asked a bakery to write the words “Adolf Hitler” on their son’s birthday cake. Authorities were alerted and they say they found evidence of abuse and neglect of the children. But Heath and Deborah say their children were taken away simply because of their names. (The third kid, by the way, is named Honzlynn Himler. I bet you he and his brother are super tight!)

Yesterday the white supremacist parents picketed outside a child services office demanding that their children, who have been in foster care for 33 months now, be returned. They told NBC 10 that the state has no right to keep their children away from them since the court allegedly ruled that the kids were taken away without cause. But a New Jersey appeals court ruled in August 2010 t that there was sufficient evidence of abuse or neglect because of domestic violence in the home, reports NBC. A judge will decide by early December if the kids will return home.

Too bad the Campbells don’t live in New Zealand, where the country’s names registrar actually bans crazy baby names (think Lucifer, Talula Does The Hula From Hawaii and twins Benson and Hedges). Actually, too bad the Campbells are freakin’ Nazis.
