Nasty Burger King Receipt Makes Grandma Weep Into Her French Cries

This story is so crazy ridiculous that I can’t stop laughing about it. The only thing I can think of after hearing a story about a fast food establishment that brings a woman to tears is, “Would you like a whaaamburger with your French cries?”

But that is because I am childish and immature and probably don’t have a heart. On with the news story.

In Richmond, Virginia, a Burger King customer has vowed that she will never go back to the establishment after she and her daughter-in-law were called “bitch ass hoes” on a receipt that was handed back to her.

After receiving this nasty message on a receipt in the drive-thru, the older woman asked to speak to a manager. The manager feigned ignorance and said that “it had never happened before.”

Burger King put out a pretty typical statement in response to the incident:

”At Burger King Corp. (BKC) we have great respect for all of our guests and customer service is a top priority every day at BURGER KING® restaurants. BKC has recently been made aware of a photo that shows an alleged receipt from a franchisee-owned and operated restaurant that does not comply with our customer service policy. We are working with the franchisee, who is investigating the matter, to determine the origins of this photo.”

The Burger King franchise owner also planned to check video surveillance to figure out which employee was responsible for the profanity on the receipt. Burger King must have gotten to the bottom of the issue because they added a follow-up, stating that the employee had been terminated.

I have so many questions about this story. Why on earth did some silly employee think it was a great idea to type profanity on a random customer receipt? Why did they decide to hand the receipt back to the customer through the drive-thru window? Why, oh why, were these women specifically thought to be “bitch ass hoes”? The world may never know.
