Anna Paquin Jumps On Pregnancy Bandwagon

Is it just me or is every celebrity on the planet preggers at the moment? There’s Reese Witherspoon, Uma Thurman, Alessandra Ambrosio, Tori Spelling, Jessica Simpson, Melissa Joan Hart… the list goes on. The latest to jump on the pregnancy bandwagon is True Blood‘s Anna Paquin. Entertainment Weekly reports that 29-year-old Paquin is 12 weeks along with her first child. Hubby and True Blood costar Stephen Moyer, 42, has two children from previous relationships: Lilac, 10, and Billy, 12.

Much like Hilary Duff‘s recent foray into motherhood, Paquin’s pregnancy news makes me feel really old. That’s because I’ll always think of Paquin first as the little girl who won an Oscar for her role in The Piano at the ripe age of 11 making her the second-youngest Oscar winner of all time (Tatum O’Neil was the youngest, for those wondering).

Clearly she’s all grown up now and True Blood fans are both elated for the power couple and worried about what this means for their beloved show. Either way, they can look forward to more Sookie and Bill action in June, when True Blood returns for its fifth season.
