Here Are ALL The New Emojis Coming To Your Phone Soon
Yay, it’s new emoji time! Every year, Unicode releases an update to the emoji list, and adds a bunch of new little characters. Last year, we got sign language and mermaids. To be honest, I still haven’t used a bunch of the ones from that update. I like what I like and tend to stick to my favorites. But this new 2018 emojis update is looking awesome! Plenty more food, some cool new animals, and redheads! Finally, some love for our ginger brothers and sisters.
The new 2018 emojis update will add 150 new characters to your keyboard. I’m excited for so many of them.
Look at all those new faces! I love seeing new skin tones and hair colors and styles being added. Remember when emojis first rolled out, and there was one yellow male and one yellow female? We’ve certainly come a long way. We’re also getting some more reaction faces, like extra lovey, hot, freezing, and what I’m assuming is totally drunk. Will be using all of those.
We’re also getting superheroes!
And so many legs and feet. The feet are weird, I’m not going to lie. But I love the addition of the superheroes, and SUPER love the icy gray haired emoji. Gray hair is so very in right now.
On to the animals! And a giant tooth!
My daughter will love the tooth, and she will torture me with it because I haaaaaaate teeth. But look! A llama! And a lobster! Now we can complete the Friends reference with an emoji. And finally, some damn carbs up in this bish. Bring on the cupcakes and bagels, please.
There’s no word yet on when we can expect this update to roll-out. So far, all we have is this sneak peek letting us know what we can expect. Hopefully it’s sooner rather than later!
