Cory Wharton & Taylor Selfridge Sadly Suffer Miscarriage Of One Of Their Twins

Well, this is so sad. Fans of Are You The One?/Ex On The Beach‘s Taylor Selfridge may have noticed that the MTV star has been absent from social media since she announced her pregnancy with Cory Wharton. Now, Taylor’s explaining why. In a text post that she posted to her Instagram Story, Taylor announced that she had found out she and Cory were to be having twins — but found out that one of them miscarried soon after they announced. Happily, the other baby is healthy.

“Ok I didn’t think it would be a big deal to take a break from social media but apparently it is because everyone seems to think I’m missing now please don’t believe this stuff,” she wrote. “I’m doing just fine, I’m happy, healthy, our baby is healthy. A few days after the announcement we found out we were supposed to actually have twins [and I] ended up losing on of them. But on the positive side, my baby is healthy! And I’m 19 weeks now.”

Cory is also taking a social media hiatus at the moment and we’ve got to believe that this latest update has something to do with it. It’s good that Taylor’s staying positive, but losing a baby is never easy — even if you’ve got another one to look forward to.

Some thought that the two were steering clear of social media after Cory was accused of cheating on his pregnant girlfriend while he was in Upstate New York. It looks like that was not the reason behind the break and Cory is now threatening legal action against the accuser, according to reality TV gossip site The Ashley.

If Taylor is now at 19 weeks now, that would mean that she announced at exactly 12 weeks. 80 percent of miscarriages happen in the first 13 weeks of pregnancy, and of course, being pregnant with twins make your chances of miscarriage even higher, according to Baby Centre.

Cory and Taylor need each other right now, so we hope there’s no truth to those cheating rumors.
