Mouths Of Babes: Kids Tell Us What Their Parents Do At Work

Our kids either watch us go off to work or watch us work at home all day. But do they have any conception of what we do to put food on their plates, buy them clothes or pay for their school? Apparently not. When I asked my children what I do at work, they said they didn’t know. When I asked them about my husband, they said he rides the choo-choo train. Meaning, they’ve figured out he rides the subway to work but that’s about it.
