She was Jonah’s date last night at the Academy Awards, and she looked so proud of her son, who was nominated for Best Supporting Actor for his role in Moneyball. Of course, Jonah Hill wasn’t the only one to bring a family member as his date to the Oscars. This year alone we watched Best Supporting Actress nominee Melissa McCarthy tear up on the red carpet as she embraced her mom, whom she thanked along with her dad for “supporting me for all the right reasons.” And Jessica Chastain of The Help walked hand-in-hand with her grandma Marilyn (“You just can’t believe how big and tall I am right now,” Marilyn told Ryan Seacrest).
