Needy Dude Tried To Sell Woman’s Baby On Craigslist Because She ‘Didn’t Have Time’ For Him

shutterstock_81257542__1375786461_74.134.205.46So this former Victoria’s Secret stock boy got all bitchy when a girl he was dating was too busy for him that he posted an ad on Craigslist trying to sell her two-month-old baby. For 100 bucks. And of course people called the ad and wanted to buy the baby because  a baby! A 100 dollar baby! I’ll take ten please. The dude, who is from Staten Island, even posted pictures of the baby along with the ad that read:

Heyy I have a 2 month old baby … she loves to play nd have her little fun but there is only 1 problem, the doctor said that she has asthma nd if she turns a certain way she can stop breathing, she’s really getting on my nerves nd I don’t want her Please email me

According to the NY Post:

Marquez had been chatting with the child’s mother online, and the two had been out a few times,” said a law-enforcement source.

”He was apparently upset she wouldn’t pay him more attention and posted the two ads as revenge,” the source said, adding, ”[The mom] didn’t have time for him. She was working all the time.”

The worst part is the headline refers to the dude as his “girlfriend” and I would be pissed about that. She went out with the guy a “few times” and he tried to sell her baby and they are calling her his GIRLFRIEND? I would be all :

Can you at least throw an alleged in there?

Poor woman now has people thinking this creepy guy was her boyfriend. According to the article:

The city’s Administration for Children’s Services was also notified about the case, sources said.

Marquez, who has two prior arrests for petit larceny, was charged with authority to place or board out children, aggravated harassment and endangering the welfare of a child, according to Staten Island DA Daniel Donovan.

Marquez was being held on $1,000 bail after his arraignment in Staten Island Criminal Court.

I’m happy that the baby is safe and no one actually bought it. Craigslist scares me. I want to buy a used ping pong table and I’m even too scared to call any numbers listed of people who are selling them. I can’t imagine calling about a used baby to buy. But I still would anyway. Because a baby!
