Kourtney Kardashian Schedules Her Workouts Around Her Mom Guilt

Kourtney Kardashian weightThe Kourtney Kardashian weight loss following the birth of baby Penelope Disick has certainly caused a lot of metaphoric ink to be spilled. Along with very questionable copy that runs terms like “mum tum” to describe the bodies of other ladies. But when making time for her swanky Tracy Anderson workouts, Kourtney Kardashian says that she evades the epic mommy guilt by working out before they get up. Personally, I’m one for obliterating mom guilt. Not scheduling one’s life around it.

The mother of two tells Us Weekly that she’s up early burning those mommy calories — sidestepping the awfulness that is mom guilt:

“The trainer comes over at 7 in the morning when my kids are still asleep so I don’t have any mom guilt,” says Kardashian of her key to weight loss success. “Sometimes I think, Why should I work out when I can spend time with my kids? I feel guilty doing something for me. So working out at home is really nice. And when I don’t do that, I go for a jog or do morning yoga. Sometimes when I’m playing on the floor with Penelope, I’ll do a few sit-ups.”

Goodness forbid you’re the type of lady who likes to prioritize your fitness a day or two out of the week while your children may be awake. The mommy guilt police would definitely come after you with handcuffs for that one. Of course, the second you don’t wake up at flipping dawn and have a trainer cracking whips behind you, then you most certainly have rags harping on that “mum tum.” A mother’s plight, indeed.
