I Can’t Make You Readers Happy: Kanye West Is Pushing Kim Kardashian Away And A 3-Headed Baby

Diesel+Edun's launch PartyI want to make you readers happy! I love a lot of you and you guys make my job fun when you have interest in what I write and we can discuss stories in the comments. I have been paying close attention to what you said in Koa‘s latest article about the sort of stories you want to see on Mommyish and it seems like the majority of you want personal stories about raising children. Or giving birth. But then some of you said you like fluff stories. And some of you said you hate fluff stories.

So in order to make everyone happy, or somewhat happy, or to at least not offend anyone, I give you this:

Kim Kardashian is said to be pushing her baby daddy Kanye West away with her constant  Kim-ness and Kim may end up being a single mother. Sad face! According to In Touch Weekly:

”His passion for Kim has cooled,” a Kardashian family insider tells In Touch. ”This is a man who was once so infatuated with Kim that he would do anything to win her love. Now he’s trying to get away from her, despite the fact that they’re having a baby.”

In other news, a three-headed baby was born in Zambia which is sort of as far away from the news that plagues celebrities like Kimye as you can get. From All Africa News:

Malama Zainab said “I was shocked when I was told I gave birth to three-headed baby girl; I busted into tears because I was baffled and upset with the development.”

Recounting her ordeal to Weekly Trust at her matrimonial home at Unguwar Sodangi in Malumfashi town, Zainab said “the delivery had confused me, because I have never expected it in my life. During my ante-natal visits to hospital, I was told that I was carrying twins, but to my utmost surprise, I gave birth to a three-headed baby.”

And back in the land of celebrities:

Kanye reluctantly agreed to do Keeping Up With the Kardashians, but he’s made it clear he wants nothing more to do with reality TV and says Kim shoud step away, too.

And back to the mom in Africa:

Weekly Trust learnt that the three-headed baby was also delivered without eyes, but had a mouth, two legs and two hands like any other normal baby.

As at the time Weekly Trust visited Zainab’s matrimonial house at Unguwar Sodangi in Malumfashi town, the house was full to its capacity with women, who converged to commiserate with her over the abnormal delivery.

And then this:

”It’s making Kim very nervous,” the insider says. ”If Kanye abandons her and she ends up a single mom, it will be her worst nightmare.”

So if this is Kim’s worst nightmare, and we juxtapose it against this worst nightmare:

Bello appealed to the public to assist the family of the three-headed baby with prayers and cash donation, as according to him they are in need of such assistance at present.

However, Weekly Trust learnt that, Malumfashi local government has sponsored the three-headed baby to ABUTH for further necessary medical action.

I think we can all agree who wins this worst nightmare scenario. Now, don’t get me wrong,  I don’t hate Kim Kardashin. I don’t know Kim Kardashian. I like the music of Kanye West but he overall seems like a self-involved whiney celebrity the majority of the time. I’m sure it can’t be easy being these two, what with the pressures of being famous that they brought on themselves and the fact that they seem intent upon thrusting themselves in the public eye and then occasionally whining about being famous

And then in other remote parts of the world we have terrifying and sad stories like the mom in Nigeria and it sort of really puts the whole Kimye thing in perspective. I get the desire to read about celebrities. It’s part of my job. And as much as I would rather just cover important news stories or POV pieces about being a mom I can’t always do that. So even though I would rather cover news I find important or that I can have a strong point of view on , sometimes I have to write about my BFF Courtney. Or Kim. Or any of the other celebrity mommies or their baby bumps or their baby names.

I think this is sort of how the majority of us feel. Even though as women and moms we may all have our trash culture that we indulge in (Scandal, anyone?) the majority of us really care about moms in remote parts of the world. Or rape. Or child abuse. So anytime you see me covering something fluffy I promise you I’m thinking more about the non-fluffy stuff. But today I’m all wondering how in the world someone like Kim can be more worried about keeping the Kim Fame Machine chugging along when this mom in Africa has to worry about her daughter’s life.
