Julia Restoin-Roitfeld Pregant, Carine Roitfeld To Be Called ‘Madame’

Fashion royalty Julia Restoin-Roitfeld is expecting her first child with longtime boyfriend Robert Konjic, she announced recently via Facebook. The 31-year-old daughter of former Vogue Paris editor Carine Roitfeld is three months along and, not surprisingly, she looks drop-dead gorgeous (what is it with the French?).

This, of course, means that Carine will be a grandmother though she refuses to go by that name. She’ll instead be referred to as Madame. Hey, would you expect anything less from such an influential trendsetter?

Not that Carine is alone in her quest to ban the old-school “granny” title. Gwynnie’s mom Blythe Danner, for instance, wants her grandchildren to call her “Woof,” while Goldie Hawn prefers “Glam-ma” (ha!).

Regardless of titles, this little bundle is bound to be one stylish babe. In fact, watch out Skylar the Roitfeld clan just may give Rachel Zoe a run for her money!
