Derick Dillard is at it again! The husband of Jill Duggar, and raving anti-LGBTQ+ and anti-abortion supporter, took to Twitter to share a few posts supporting his ridiculously close-minded beliefs. His latest retweet not only insults people who have had abortions and miscarriages but those who have lost a spouse.
The original post, a Planned Parenthood article about misconceptions of women who have had abortions and those who have had miscarriages, was retweeted by user @tiffany1958B. She compared a woman’s experience with abortion and miscarriage to a fake woman who might murder her husband or lose him to a heart attack reports Inquisitr.
Jill Duggar’s husband, Derick decided that he agreed with this sentiment enough to retweet it to his followers.
“Her husband died of a heart attack.”
“She murdered her husband.”
There is no difference between these women. https://t.co/Z13EedKPIO

Yes, the Counting On star thinks that someone who has an abortion is as guilty as a woman who kills her husband. It’s a well-known fact that Derick, and the entire Duggar gang, are against abortion, but this is a pretty extreme step.
Of course, Derick’s intense opinions about the LGBTQ+ community got him in trouble. TLC distanced themselves from Dillard after he tweeted some horrible things about Jazz Jennings. Jazz Jennings is a transgender teen and one of TLC’s newest stars. The network has since come out in support of Jennings, and not Dillard, according to Inquisitr.
It turns out that tweets and retweets do have consequences.
While Derick, and seemingly, Jill Duggar, won’t be appearing on Counting On in the future. It doesn’t seem to bother the former reality TV star. He even had the audacity to like a few of TLC’s tweets reporting that he was leaving the show!
But, it doesn’t stop there. Derick has since set up a Go Fund Me account requesting donations. The goal was set for $10,000, and gained nearly $6,000 in the first month – $5,000 of which came from an unverified source. The latest update on the site claims that the goal was reached, and Derick is no longer accepting donations.
Whether or not the rest of the Duggar clan agrees with Derick’s extreme opinions on abortion and the LGBTQ+ community has yet to be confirmed, but it seems that at least the rest of the Duggars have decided that they shouldn’t tweet about it.
