If You Think ‘Bikini’ Onesie Is Bad, Steer Clear Of These Graphic Prints

By  |

Yesterday we wrote about this bikini onesie with a woman’s bikini-clad silhouette printed on the front. The outfit offended many parents, including some Mommyish readers who feel it sexualizes babies, no two ways about it. I argued that the onesie was tacky, sure, but offensive? Not so much. Clearly there are differing opinions on the matter, though I think most would agree there are some things – blow job references and pasties, for instance – that have no place in a baby’s wardrobe no matter what your brand of humor. Click through our gallery for a roundup of the most inappropriate onesies out there. We can guarantee they make the bikini print look tame in comparison.

While admittedly some of these are pretty tasteless not all of them are horrible. I think maybe you should lighten up just a little, they are meant as JOKES.

Sorry, but that last one is quite funny… The rest, not so much…

I agree, I don’t see what’s so bad about the last one. Maybe the word “laid,” but for god’s sake it’s a BABY. Not like they can read or understand it.
Hell, I’d put that on my baby if I had one because both my husband and I are HUGE nerds, lol!

Yeah I like the last one and the shit ones lol minus the naked woman, that one was kind of clever.

I liked it too. Then again, my husband is a huge nerd, so it totally fits. I wouldn’t have the guts to put it on my kid though.

But “They Shake Me” and “Hung like a…” are pretty tacky and inappropriate, IMHO.

If Asimov had written a piece of futurism 50 years ago forecasting that we would lose our collective minds in this way no one would have believed him.

His theme would have been societal disintegration in a time where everyone thought a Good Thing was happening, or didn’t know anything was happening. That willful ignorance would, of course, be precisely why it happened, and why his characters destroyed every good thing they had.
