Mommyish Poll: How Much Are You Spending On The Kids’ Gifts This Holiday?

So husbands, partners, in-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends aside — how much money are you bracketing for your own kids this holiday season? The moms over at TODAY are allegedly throwing down $271 on average per kid with one in ten moms saying that they’ll go upwards of $500 per child. Even though the economy is still a shambles, only one in four intends to spend less on presents.

Most parents begrudgingly go overboard come the gift-giving season. But given that one in four kids will go hungry this Christmas, those figures do seem kind of high.
