Claire Underwood Is Back and She Is Not Messing Around

It was nice knowing you, Frank! But it’s Claire’s house now. During the Oscar broadcast on Sunday night, Netflix debuted the House of Cards trailer for the final season. You may recall, the fate of the popular political show was up in the air following the firing of Kevin Spacey for being a disgusting monster. Netflix decided to move forward with the final season, but Frank Underwood is out. And Claire Underwood is IN.

The House of Cards trailer was short, so we didn’t get much in terms of what the final season will reveal. But we did get Robin Wright looking like a bad-ass bitch behind the desk.

Two things: one, I want to marry and/or be Robin Wright and/or Claire Underwood. Two, I want the kind of face that can pull off that sharp bob. That is a don’t fuck with me haircut, and it is PERFECT for Claire.

Netflix announced in November that it would not be involved with any production of the show that included Kevin Spacey.

A representative for the network told PEOPLE, “Netflix will not be involved with any further production of House of Cards that includes Kevin Spacey. We will continue to work with MRC during this hiatus time to evaluate our path forward as it relates to the show.” Netflix also shelved Gore, a filmed produced by and starring Spacey.

Kevin Spacey was accused of sexual misconduct by several people, including eight people who worked on House of Cards. He reportedly entered treatment after the allegations surfaced.

But who needs Kevin Spacey? The best part of that show was and always has been Claire Underwood, played to perfection by Robin Wright. The new and final season will consist of eight episodes, and premieres this fall on Netflix. Hopefully they killed Frank off in an embarrassing way.
