It’s a Christmas Miracle! Hallmark Will Release 34 New Holiday Movies in 2018!
Is it even the holiday season without Hallmark holiday movies?! The cheesy movies about coming home for Christmas, reuniting with lost love under the mistletoe, and finding the true spirit of the season are the best part of the holidays. And every year, Hallmark outdoes itself with even more cornball movies. I can’t help myself, I just love them. The cornier, the better. So when Hallmark announced that they would be releasing 34 new movies this holiday season, I busted out the eggnog to celebrate. It’s never too early to get excited for Christmas!
Hallmark holiday movies are a holiday season staple. Once they start airing, you know the season is in full swing!
Last year, Hallmark debuted 33 holiday movies. But that wasn’t enough, obviously. So the network is one-upping itself this year, with 34 new and original holiday movies. The movies will begin airing on October 27, during the popular Countdown to Christmas programming block. And yes, I realize that’s before even Halloween, but with 34 movies, we’re going to need to get a head start so we don’t miss a single one.

The new Hallmark holiday movies will have plenty of familiar faces.
Danica McKellar, who starred in last year’s Coming Home for Christmas, will find the true meaning of Christmas or reunite with a long-lost love or something along those lines in one of this season’s movies. Kellie Martin will star in Vet, described as “an emotional story of heroism and homecoming.” We’re sure Candice Cameron Bure and Lori Loughlin will star in at least one or two. It wouldn’t be Hallmark without them.

If you can’t possibly wait until October to get your Hallmark movie fix (and who could blame you), don’t worry! Hallmark Movies & Mysteries runs their Gold Crown Christmas special from June 29 – July 8, and the Hallmark Channel’s Keepsake Christmas runs from July 6 – 15. Christmas is July is the best!
