For Game of Thrones fans, news of the premiere of the eighth and final season brought excitement and devastation. Obviously, because it’s been ALMOST TWO DAMN YEARS since we last we visited Westeros, we are all ready. We’re ready! We love this show, but lord that’s a long time between seasons. But the news also brought sadness, because the upcoming eighth season will be the last. We’ve pledged allegiance to our house and have followed along for seven seasons, and it’s hard to say goodbye! When the final season begins on April 14, we’ll be glued to our TV, but also pre-mourning the end of one of the best shows of all time. You know what will help with our grieving? Snacks. Good thing these Game of Thrones Oreos come out a week before the start of the final season.

These special edition Oreos stick to the classic chocolate and cream filling, but that’s where the classic details end. The cookies come in a bad-ass looking matte black package, and will feature four designs: a dragon for the Targaryens, a wolf for the Starks, a lion for the Lannisters, and of course, a White Walker. So not only does the package scream GoT, you can actually show your allegiance to your chosen house with your cookie choice. Brilliant marketing, honestly. We’re suckers for good marketing. There’s obviously already a ton of GoT merchandise out there, and so much more to come, but this is one of the better examples of it that we’ve seen.
