Everyone’s Singing About The ‘Frozen 2’ Release Date
Kids (and OK, lots of adults, too) have been singing the praises of Disney’s Frozen for roughly four years now, and now fans are psyched for the upcoming sequel. That’s right—if you were hoping for an end to the tunes about trolls and snowmen and true love, it ain’t happening. And if you’re the sort who’s been humming the tunes to themselves this whole time, well, congrats! After much anticipation (and likely a whole lot of impatience from fans), Disney has finally commit to a release date.
Appropriately, the Frozen 2 release date is set for November 27, 2019, just in time for the holidays.
What Else Do We Know So Far?
For the moment, not much more information has been released. A quick visit to the movie’s IMDB page reveals that Kristen Bell will be back to reprise her role as Anna. Bell, who found stardom by way of her role on the hit TV show Veronica Mars, is starring in the upcoming How To Be A Latin Lover. Former Glee star Idina Menzel will also be reprising her role as Elsa, which is sure to make plenty of fans happy. Menzel’s other acting credits include Enchanted, Rent, and the TV remake of Beaches.
Directors Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee will also be returning to direct the new film. Buck also directed the animated film Tarzan as well as the show Family Dog, but has an even heftier filmography in animation, having worked on such notable films at Pocahontas, the Little Mermaid, and Oliver and Company. Lee, who also wrote the screenplay for Frozen, is also known for her writing in Wreck-It Ralph and Zootopia.
How Are The Fans Reacting?
