Florida Boy Makes Facebook Invite And Hosts House Party After Murdering Parents

Your teen may swear up and down that he or she hates you but ask yourself honestly if they would be capable of the following: murder with a hammer and then promptly hosting a house party with friends following your demise. So is the alleged chain of events for Tyler Hadley who, according to The New York Times, had already hammered his parents to death before creating a Facebook invite for a party at his house.

The Times reports:

Tyler Hadley of Port St. Lucie is being held on two counts of first-degree murder in the deaths of his parents, Blake and Mary-Jo Hadley. The bodies were discovered early Sunday morning after police received a tip.

Police believe the parents were already dead when the teen used Facebook to invite friends to his house for a party Saturday night.

The details are still unfurling but the boy is currently being held in juvenile detention. I suspect that the mainstream press will find a way to frame this story within the evils of teens and their active social media use, despite that sociopaths have been around longer than Facebook.
