This Poor Guy Challenged Disney’s Gaston To A Push-Up Contest, And The Results Are Wonderful
Of all the Disney characters to challenge to a public push-up contest, Gaston would not be my first choice. For there’s no one as burly and brawny, as you see, he’s got biceps to spare. Not a bit of him’s scraggly or scrawny, and every last inch of him’s covered in hair!
But one brave young man did just that at a Disney park recently. He walked right up to Gaston and challenged him to a push-up contest. Gaston accepted gleefully, and while the challenger made a pretty impressive showing, Gaston suddenly called out, “He looks like he’s struggling! Perhaps he needs … a hand!” and held out his right hand while continuing to do push-ups with his left.
The challenger made a valiant attempt to keep up, but at that point it was all over. Really, it was a foregone conclusion. You don’t challenge a man who eats five dozen eggs every morning to a push-up contest and expect to take more than second place.
Also, Gaston doing one-handed push-ups with a hand on his hip is a fantasy I did not know I had before today.

This Gaston is so great, I think visitors are going to be spending a lot more time looking for Gaston from now on. I did not previously have a Disney trip planned in the near future, but I sure do now.
