This Funny Mom Explains Why You Should Never Complain About Buying School Supplies
Everyone knows that back-to-school is an expensive time of year. Between the new shoes, clothes, and school supplies, we parents drop a lot of coin in August. But one funny mom is reminding us why we shouldn’t complain about buying school supplies in a hilarious Facebook rant.
Dena Blizzard is a comedian and mother of three who runs the humor site, One Funny Mother. In a new Facebook video, Dena goes in on the parents who complain about back-to-school costs. While filming herself shopping in Target, Blizzard lays it all out there.
”I’ve been noticing lately that when people are doing their back-to-school shopping, everybody’s complaining. And my thing is, listen, it’s the end of August. I will give you anything to take my kids.” So accurate.
”You need a yellow binder? I will get you a yellow binder, I’ll get you a red binder, I will tie-dye some shit. You take these kids outta my house, I’ll get you whatever you want.” She then hilariously adds, “If there was a teacher who said, ‘I need some Tide,’ Imma get you some Tide.”
Blizzard then goes in on the parents who complain about getting school supplies for the classroom.
“These teachers have been making plans to teach your kids and you’re gonna complain about some pencils?”
Teachers everywhere are like:
Blizzard points out that teachers are willing and able to educate our kids, especially on trickier subjects like math and history. “You want some super glue? I will get you as much super glue as you want, because you’re gonna teach my kids. And guess what that means? I don’t have to teach my kids.”
While standing in the school supply aisle at Target, Blizzard cuts deep. “All you parents complaining about the costs, you don’t think those teachers are spending money?”
