Everyone Finds This Video Of This Dad Lip-Synching His Kid’s Tantrum Hilarious – Except Me

Well, this is awkward. I’m sitting here all by myself while the rest of the world finds this video of Kathy Sterner‘s husband lip-synching along to the total meltdown of his six-year-old daughter totally hilarious, and it’s just making me all uncomfortable. I don’t why this is bothering me but it is! I mean, yay for the dad who I am sure is a nice dad making his sons laugh and all and I don’t know all of the circumstances but I don’t like this.

And haha, that’s all I can come up with – I don’t like this and maybe because it reminds me of being a little kid myself and totally losing my shit and feeling like no one cared, which I am sure happened to all of us at one point or another. All kids have tantrums, but do all parents film them while lip-synching them?

Kathy Sterner wrote on her You Tube Page that:

My 6 year old daughter had been in her room wigging out for about an hour, and there was no talking her down. I was getting fed up, so my husband decided to lighten the mood. For the record, she’s not typically a beast child – she’s actually a pretty awesome little kid who was having a rough day. 🙂

And I’m sure the parents did try and clam the little girl down and I am sure she is an awesome kid and all that, but I guess I just feel sort of burnt out that we have to put EVERY single moment our kids have on social media for the entire world to see. It seems sort of disrespectful to the kid. I have bad days, I cry on occasion, if someone filmed me crying and made a video of someone making fun of it on You Tube I’d be pissed, but we feel like we can do this to our kids just because they are short?

I mean, it’s great the dad isn’t losing his temper and spanking the kid or something, and as I said above I don’t know exactly what set the little girl off, but isn’t age six a little old to be having a total meltdown like this? Maybe it’s her brothers cracking up that bugs me too, because they all seem like they are ganging up on her.

I guess it would make more sense to me if they filmed this and they showed it to her in the privacy of their own home, to say “here, this is how ridic you sounded when you were having your tantrum” but putting it out there for everyone to see just seems weird to me. But then again, maybe I’m just a jerk with no sense of humor and you guys will all tell me a hundred reasons why this is funny and I will change my mind. But right now I just feel like this kid needed a hug and a glass of water and possibly a nap. Just like me!
