Carla Bruni Has Another French Bun In The Oven

Little Giulia Sarkozy, born in fall of last year, better make some more room in her crib. The second child to supermodel, chanteuse, and former French first lady Carla Bruni isn’t even a year old yet. But Nicolas Sarkozy‘s bride is expecting another little Parisian.

Carla’s third pregnancy, second with Sarkozy, was reportedly confirmed by France’s Closer magazine. Translated quotes from the publication reveal that — as always — speculation remained as to why beauty icon Carla hadn’t immediately chiseled herself into her pre-pregnant form following Giulia’s birth. You know, because that should be her absolute top priority as a new mother? Alas, the mother of two revealed that she is pregnant again at the age of 44, so the baby weight haters will just have to hold off for a couple of more trimesters. 

There is some talk of bed rest for this pregnancy and some postpartum depression concerns for Carla following Giulia’s birth. Not to mention that the singer was planning to return to her music career and touring now that her mari has finished up his presidential term. I’m sure the French couple will hammer out those work life balance details from the comforts of their reported Parisian townhouse, Carla gently strumming away on her guitar between nursing.
