Captain Morgan Jack-O’Blast Pumpkin Spice Rum Sounds Perfect For Fall

It’s still technically summer but with some parents already shipping their kids off to school for the new year, everyone is on count down to the fall. We’re all ready to say goodbye to the stresses of summer and kids home. Goodbye to the heat and humidity that make us feel like all we can get done is a nap. And pretty much every person is excited for pumpkin spice season — unless you’re the type of person who isn’t. And we can be honest: the world could be categorized into those two groups and we’d learn a lot about each other. Well, prepare to be even more excited because if you didn’t already know that Captain Morgan Jack-O’Blast Pumpkin Spice Rum was a thing, it is, and you need to know about it.

This isn’t the first year for Captain Morgan Jack-O’Blast Pumpkin Spice Rum, apparently it was released two years ago in 2016 and for some reason not everyone has heard about it yet.

Maybe people wanted it to be half-secret, so those cute pumpkin shaped bottles could line their kitchen cabinets and not yours. But, TBH, this is too cute and too great to not share with everyone — so you’re welcome?

This drink first hit the shelves back in the fall of 2016 as a limited-edition run, at the time. Vice President of Marketing for Captain Morgan, Linda Bethea, said in a statement, ”As much as we enjoyed tropical cocktails over the summer, it’s time to make room for the bold flavors of fall everyone enjoys. Captain Morgan Jack-O’Blast is a must-have for responsible adult consumers during their favorite seasonal activities, whether it’s at football tailgates, Halloween parties, or backyard bonfires with friends.”

According to Brit.co the bottle of Captain Morgan Jack-O’Blast Pumpkin Spice Rum may seem small, but there is a bunch in there, enough to get you and several friends feeling fall tipsy. “Because this particular bottle is meant to be consumed by the shot, its 750 ml (25 ounces) size is actually quite a lot. For reference, a standard shot pour in the U.S. is 1.5 ounces, so the entire thing yields around 16 servings depending on your glass size. The 50 ml size is a single ”” yet still *very* autumnal ”” shot.”

This drink is usually only available during the fall months, so if you spot it, take a shot, and let us know how it was.
