Epic Bride Attached Her Newborn To Her Wedding Dress Train And People Are Freaking

Bride Attaches Newborn To Wedding Dress A beautiful, blushing bride in Tennessee is under a whole mess of hand-wringing scrutiny because she wanted to include her newborn daughter Aubrey in her wedding ceremony, and she decided to accomplish this by attaching the baby to the train of her dress. According to Shona Carter-Brooks‘ Facebook page, the dress was a Vera Wang that she obviously had alerted to include her daughter, so I’m pretty sure Vera hasn’t designed a new line of dresses entitled the “Just In Case Your Baby Arrives Early Line.”  The website Clutch covered this story, and readers over there are having some hardcore moral outrage over the whole situation:

WHAT IF THE CHILD WIGGLED? WHAT IF SOMETHING FELL FROM THE CEILING?

I don’t know about you guys but I have yet to attend a wedding ceremony where random shit just started falling from the ceiling. And considering the church was filled with the loved ones and family of Shona and her groom Jonathan Brooks I’m pretty sure if the sky started randomly falling someone would have rushed right over and grabbed the baby.

I needed to include this because #JesusBeASwiffer may be almost as good as #Toastdontcare.

Poor Shona took to her own Facebook page to defend her decision, and said:

People questioning what we do, commenting all negative, and just doing the most. We good though we covered by the Blood which never loose its power. So to the media, radio, news, and whomever else wanting to talk about what WE do here you go: Media Media I see how it works regardless the situation or purpose people gone have something negative to say! The answer is we do what we want when we want long as Jesus on our side everything worked out fine and gone continue to be fine. Our 1 month old was awake and well secured on my train. Most important while yall got ya feelings in us we had our hearts in Christ which covers all!! So keep ya mouths running for it was just that Exclusive and Epic enough we made top blog way from small town Ripley, TN and the social media doing what they do, TALK!!!! Who paid yall for yall comments, none so watch us as we do us! Too bless for mess!! Thank God we aint no celebrities oops got fans, guess we is! Sign off Mr & Mrs Brooks!!

Had I been #blessed with a newborn I personally would not have included it during my wedding ceremony because my train (Get it?) of thought would have been “I’m busy getting married so finally someone else can hold the baby” but as far as this is concerned, whoooooo cares? This couple obviously love their daughter so much they wanted to incorporate her into their big day this way and the baby wasn’t hurt or bothered by it. The sky did not fall. She did not get some horrible floor-bourne church disease, and the happy couple is currently celebrating their honeymoon. Hopefully they did not bring the baby with so they can have some time alone before they go back to full-time parenting.
