Beyonce To Design Maternity Line

The rumors have begun: Beyonce is faking her pregnancy! Her baby is nothing more than a prosthetic bump! Whether or not the rumors are true remains to be seen but, still, Beyonce is no dummy. She plans to reach out to expectant moms everywhere with a new maternity collection under the House of Dereon line she produces with her mother, Tina Knowles.

“I love figuring out designs that still make me feel edgy and sexy while pregnant. Flowy fabrics are always flattering but I still rock my stilettos,” she says in the November issue of Harper’s Bazaar (Beyonce appears on the cover, along with the headline, “SEXY & Pregnant”). “I’ve had so much fun with fashion over the months,” Bey continues. “I have been pregnant through every event I’ve done, from the Billboard Awards to Glastonbury.”

If Beyonce is indeed pregnant, I think it’s cool that she’s designing a maternity line for women who want to look and feel good with their growing bump (that’s how it should be!). If the whole thing’s a hoax, well, that’s just disturbing to think about (she’s of course still entitled to design whatever she pleases, but I think I’d be too disturbed to support the line. I mean, talk about creepy!).
