Arnold Schwarzenegger Reportedly Admits His Douchebaggery

It’s been over a year since his affair but Arnold Schwarzenegger is speaking openly about his whole love child situation for the first time. In promotion of his autobiography, Total Recall: My Unbelievably True Life, Story (what else?), the former governor of California sits down with 60 Minutes to share his assessment of the affair. But more importantly, how the events impacted his kids. Hint: not at all well.

People magazine reports that in the interview, which will air this Sunday, correspondent Lesley Sthal asks, “Was this just the most unbelievable act of betrayal to Maria [Shriver]?” Arnold ranks his hidden love child with housekeeper Mildred Baena as the following:

“I think it was the stupidest thing I’ve done in the whole relationship,” Schwarzenegger, 65, replies. “It was terrible. I inflicted tremendous pain on Maria and unbelievable pain on the kids.”

There you have it straight from the horse’s mouth. Turns out that fornicating with the help and therefore producing a child — which you then fail to mention to your wife for over a decade– can have adverse effects on your partnership and your other babies. I’m sure the Shriver-Schwarzenegger kids also greatly appreciate this news being publicly rehashed just so that Daddy can sell biographies.
