10 Best All-Inclusive Family Resorts in the US

Taking a family vacation doesn’t have to end in classic Griswold fashion. With the right amount of planning, you can have the vacation of your dreams, even with kids in tow! One of the best ways to take the hassle and stress out of planning your trip is to go all-inclusive with your accommodations. Instead of paying separately for your rooms, food, and activities (which can add up REALLY fast), plan your stay at a resort that rolls it all into one rate. I shared some of the best all-inclusive Caribbean resorts for families before, which I’m still daydreaming about. But, a Caribbean vacation isn’t in every family’s budget! The good news is, you don’t have to go far to find amazing resorts. These all-inclusive family resorts are right here in the US.

1. First up in the best all-inclusive family resorts in the US: a little luxury dude ranchin’ at Vista Verde in Steamboat Springs, CO.

A luxury dude ranch, you say? Sign me up! Vista Verde is a stunning property located in the Rocky Mountains. Because of the location, it can feel like a completely different vacation depending on the time of year you visit! During warmer months, kids can enjoy a plethora of ranch-themed activities, like fishing, horseback riding, and barn dances (YES, BARN DANCES). In the winter, Vista Verde transforms into a magical winter wonderland, with piles of gorgeous snow, tubing, sledding, sleigh rides, and of course, hot chocolate.

If I wasn’t already sold on this place, this line from the website did me in: “Single parents find a chance to take a deep breath and recharge while their kids are off wearing themselves out in the fresh mountain air”. Yes, please and thank you. Best part? It’s all-inclusive, so the only thing you have to worry about during your stay is which outdoor adventure you’re going on next.

2. Club Med Sandpiper Bay on Florida’s Treasure Coast

Located on Florida’s Treasure Coast, the resort is a stunning property with gorgeous accommodations and beaches you’ll never want to leave. But what sets Sandpiper Bay apart from other Club Med properties is its amenities. This is THE resort for active, outdoor sports-loving families. Some of the activities include golf, tennis, sailing, kayaking, yoga, and so much more. Their state-of-the-art on-site sports facilities are some of the best in the world. Your kiddos can run themselves ragged doing the sports. And you can sip a margarita under a shady palm on the beach. Everybody wins!
