Eva Mendes Thanks Fan For Protecting Her Children’s Identities

Eva Mendes is loving social media right now, and we get to be the benefactor of all these interesting tidbits about her personal life as she struts into the comments section all over Instagram.

In a recent IG comment, the Hitch actress thanked a fan page for emulating “a healthy social media fan.” Instagram account @gosling.mendes posted a series of paparazzi photos that shows Eva, Ryan Gosling, and their two kids out and about. But whenever the camera could see the faces of the little ones, the user put a fox or bear emoji to cover their easily-identified features.

Eva, who has been an advocate for protecting celebrity children from paparazzi, takes the protection of her children, Esmeralda and Amanda, super seriously.

“Hi! Thank you again for blocking out our babies faces [sic],” she commented. “It means the WORLD to us. You’re the perfect example of a healthy social media fan account. I wish there was more like you out there! Sending all the love right back to you for 2020 and beyond!! And again thank you.”

The couple has been together since 2011 and their daughters were born in 2014 and 2016. Since then, Eva’s admitted she feels the need to limit her roles in order to set a good example for her children.

”As a mother now, there are many roles I won’t do,” she wrote in an Instagram comment. ”There are many subject matters that I don’t want to be involved with, so it limits my choices and I’m fine with that. I have to set an example for my girls now.”

This couple is one of the most private in Hollywood and it seems to be working for them! Hell, we don’t know if Ryan and Eva are married. But it’s 2020, so whether or not they’ve legally tied the knot doesn’t really mean much about the status or seriousness of their relationship.
