Hardly a single soul is a fan of David Eason, but the self-admitted puppy-killer is posting updates about how he’s coping since he split with Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans last month. The two had a tumultuous relationship that included allegations of abuse from Jenelle during a 911 phonecall (she later retracted the statement), worries from friends and family about domestic violence on The Land on which they live, and leaked videos that show David berating his wife of two years.

The couple shares a two-year-old daughter named Ensley, though both were parents already from previous relationships. Jenelle gave birth to her son, Jace, in 2009 while Jenelle appeared on MTV’s 16 & Pregnant. However, his grandmother, Barbara has custody of Jace — making for complicated family dynamics between Babs and Jenelle. Jenelle also has a son named Kaiser with Nathan Griffiths and their relationship was also full of allegations of abuse. David, on his part, does not have custody of his five-year-old son, Kaden, and shared custody of daughter Maryssa with his ex. Maryssa was seen on Teen Mom 2 before David was ousted from the show.

In a public Facebook post, David wrote, “Glad u [sic] people think I am taking this [divorce] so hard. Just so u [sic] all know I am so very much happier and so is Maryssa! Finally peaceful!”

There have been reports recently that Jenelle is making her case to MTV to get her role back on MTV. Because David wasn’t able to film, Jenelle eventually had to stop taking part on Teen Mom 2. Since she wasn’t officially ‘fired’ (like David and Farrah Abrahams were), she stands a chance for being reinstated on the reality show. It’s unclear if she’ll be successful.

The 27-year-old mom of three has been staying off social media, for the most part, writing on Instagram that, “I’ve been focused on making some big life decisions. I’ve lived my life on camera since I was 17 years old. And alot [sic] of it hasn’t been pretty… Like anyone else I want what’s best for my kids and I want to be happy.”
