If Your Kids Aren’t Afraid Of Clowns Yet, This Creepy Costumed Guy Will Help Fix That For You

On the off chance that you and your children are not yet afraid of clowns, there’s a friendly neighborhood murder clown running around Wasco, Calif., who will help rectify that situation for you.

Halloween is a fun time for kids to dress like fire engines and go trick-or-treating, and also a fun time for adults to try and scare each other. According to The Daily Mail, there is seriously a person or persons running around the town of Wasco wearing a horrifying clown costume and carrying balloons. Who that person is or why he or she is taking the clown show on the road is a mystery, but after looking at a few of these pictures I am pretty sure I’m afraid of clowns now. Also balloons, because those are now guilty by association.

Some residents have taken to clown-spotting. They drive around looking for the clown, who can often be tracked on social media. There’s even a Wasco Clown Instagram account, where one clown announces where he or she will be making appearances.

And it seems like there’s more than one person out there with a creepy clown costume in the closet, because Wasco is apparently full of copy-clowns.

“Just thought you all should know I’m not the only one out there,” the clown posted ominously on the Wasco Clown Instagram.

Going by the Instagram account, it seems like the evil clowns prefer to come out late at night, so it doesn’t seem like they’ve been scaring too many small children. One child apparently told reporters a clown chased him down the street with an ax, but police say the clowns have not actually been linked to any crimes or assaults. They’re just standing there, being creepy as hell.
