Woman Arrested After Spraying Deputies With Breast Milk

If you’ve ever breastfed a child, chances are pretty good you have an embarrassing story about milk spraying hither and yon.

But let’s hope you’ve never breast-milk-sprayed the po-po when they’ve come to get you after a domestic disturbance at a wedding.

That’s what allegedly happened to Stephanie Robinette of Ohio. According to the 5-0, they received calls about a domestic dispute. When they arrived, Stephanie’s husband reported that his wife had gotten drunk, struck him several times and locked herself in the car.

When the deputies tried to get her out of the car, she “advised the deputies that she was a breast feeding mother and proceeded to remove her right breast from her dress and began spraying deputies and the vehicle with her breast milk.”

And now we know why those breast-milk alcohol detector strips exist, I guess!

Ms. Robinette was charged with domestic violence, assault, obstructing official business, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.

You know, apart from the problems with too much alcohol being in one’s breastmilk, I sure hope that her breastfeeding baby was ok while she sorted out her arrest and detention.

And come on ladies, if you can’t lay off the sauce enough to avoid getting rip-roaring drunk while nursing your child, you do have a problem.

I love to drink as much as the next mother, but there’s a time and place for these things and it sure sounds like this woman chose unwisely.
