Amber Rose And Wiz Kalifa Are Going To Have A Water Birth, No Word On If That Means Bong Water

Screen Shot 2013-02-11 at 6.50.32 AMAdorable pregnant overshare-rs Wiz Kalifa and Amber Rose are expecting their first child, due date February 24th, and according to what Wiz told People magazine, that is not ideal for him, because he wants Amber to “stay pregnant forever.” Awwww. This couple is seriously becoming to the most adorable pregnant celebrity couple ever, what with their coordinating Grammy ensembles and posting pictures of all of their food on Twitter. The couple have decided they want to have a natural childbirth (Wait, marijuana is natural, right?) and told People:

“We watched The Business of Being Born with Ricki Lake and we just got inspired. We’ve got a pool, everything,” explains Rose.

”We’ve been taking classes, we got a doula, midwife ”” we’re going the whole thing,” says Khalifa, who adds he’s looking forward to taking part in the delivery process.

”I want to have a role in it, too. I wanted to get taken on a ride,” he admits.

And adorably:

”I want her to stay pregnant forever,” quipped Khalifa, 25.

As eye-rolly and cynical as I get about a lot of celebrity couples, these two are seriously not annoying me as much as I thought they would. They are always fawning over each other and complimenting each other and they both seem so genuinely excited about this pregnancy that it’s hard not to root for these two crazy kids. They also said that the baby has a name already, but they won’t confess to what they are planning on naming their son.

Screen Shot 2013-02-11 at 6.50.45 AM I’m even getting all excited for this baby to be born, simply because it will be like we are all invited to the birth if we read Amber’s twitter feed. The couple revealed more of their birthing plan to Sf Gate:

Wiz says, ”We gonna have a midwife and a doula (labour coach) at the crib and she’s gonna be in a pool and it’s gonna be like a relaxing environment and when she’s ready she’s gonna tell me when to stick my hands down there and I’m gonna pull the baby out (sic)”¦ I’m excited, I’m ready. I’m mean I’m nervous too, but it’s a good nervous, it’s not like a confused nervous, like, ”˜What do I do?’”

And Amber added:

”He doesn’t like hospitals, I don’t like hospitals, we feel like that’s the place the people go when they die and I’m not sick. I feel like from the beginning of time women squatted and had their babies and that’s exactly what I want to do.

”I just want to go full-throttle, I don’t want no (sic) medication. We take home birthing classes to teach us how to do it, and we’re gonna have our midwife and when the baby’s head comes out he’s gonna be Dr. Wiz. He’s gonna be the first person to touch the child. No doctors, no gloves.”

Even though I didn’t have natural childbirths, I’ve always been sort of envious of moms who did. It seems like such a nice, peaceful way to welcome new life into the world, but then I remember how painful I found childbirth even with drugs and I forget all of that envy. But I do have huge amounts of respect for moms who do that. So Amber and Wiz’s baby is due within a few weeks. I think we can officially start taking guesses on what his name will be, but I call dibs on Li’l Smokey McSmokey.
