Thereâ€™s nothing more fun than watching an episode of The Simpsonâ€™s 15 years later, only to realize that the show is just as funny, if not funnier, than it was when you were a kid. I may be biased, but I truly love the 90s. There was something about the grungy culture and alternative music that made me feel like the coolest high schooler on the block. I also firmly believe it was the perfect time in history because our generation got to enjoy the introduction of the Internet and the cell phone, before every baby was born with an iPad in their hands. So now we know, educational television programs are important. Or at least, they won’t mess up your children as much as a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles marathon. As parents, we need to skip the overly aggressive cartoons and stick with something that has a little learning thrown in. Of course, the problem is that plenty of educational television shows are also intensely obnoxious. More
The ban is proposed by “intactivists” as a human rights issue but there are major First Amendment problems with such a ban, since, from the Jewis perspective, they have been doing this for 6,000 or so years out of obedience to God. Muslims, likewise, engage in the practice out of religious obligation. Christians have freedom to go one way or the other and some secularists favor the practice for health benefits.
