Let’s get one thing straight. I think Loni Jane Anthony is gorgeous. She is a physically attractive human. That being said, if Loni Jane Anthony were six times her size or something I would probably think she is lovely, and what else is lovely is the fact that she is pregnant. I think pregnant women are lovely. Loni has recently come under fire for discussing her mostly raw vegan diet on Instagram, and people are clutching their pearls and wringing their hands and basically bashing their heads against walls and shrieking WON’T SOMEONE THINK OF HER UNBORN BABY?
So lame. So very lame.
Loni eats a lot of bananas. LOTS of bananas. Most headlines are shrieking 20 Bananas A Day!

Loni also likes to eat salad. OH NO NOT SALAD WON’T SOMEONE THINK OF THE BABY!

And the feigned moral outrage over all of this is beyond sickening.
It’s like a sea of bitches (™ Mommyish reader Alice) want to rise up from the Internet and force-feed her a Big Mac or something.

So now every media outlet who posted this photo gets to speculate on how healthy Loni is and whether or not her baby will come out looking like a banana because she eats mostly raw fruits and vegetables.
It’s no one’s business what this woman eats. If she ate 90 bags of Cheetos and had an IV of Mountain Dew hooked into her vein it would still be no one’s business.
It’s getting slightly less acceptable for mainstream media to body shame non-pregnant women, so now they have moved on to pregnant women so they can do it under the guise of WON’T SOMEONE THINK OF HER UNBORN BABY?
I’m sure her baby is fine. I’m sure she is fine. And that’s between her and her OBGYN.
