Pregnant Kim Kardashian Gushes About How Much She Would ‘Love To Be Divorced’

kim kardashianSome girls dream of big white weddings, white picket fences, and children who nap on a regular basis. (Others dream of living fabulous child-free lives and never ever putting a ring on it, but that’s a different article). But as someone who has already had the big white wedding, pregnant Kim Kardashian‘s “perfect world” fairy tale involves getting that divorce from old hubby Kris Humphries.

The “reality startlet,” according to People magazine (good god, that’s a term now?), says that this marriage to old what’s his face has gone on too long.  And she wants to get things going in a new year, new dawn kind of a way:

“In a perfect world, of course I would love to be divorced.”

Making an appearance with sister [Kourtney Kardashian] on Sway in the Morning radio show, Kardashian, went on to say, “[The marriage] is going on its second year, and that’s really tough because I want to move on. I really want to move on with my life.”

In response to allegations that Kim Kardashian agreed to that 72-day marriage to Krim Humphries for publicity, well, she just says you don’t really know the first thing about her:

Admitting her ex was “someone [who] I loved a lot,” the TV personality defends his claims that she married him “for publicity,” explaining, “He’s ”¦ suing me for an annulment ”¦ He’s claiming that I [committed fraud] ”¦ Who would ever do that? It’s just not who I am. All those fake and fraud rumors got started because of that, and we have to deal with that and handle that.”

In fact, it’s all you KK haters who would have wanted her to stay in a “fake” marriage by sticking it out:

“I would have rather ended it when I felt that way, than waste a year of my life not being happy,” she says. “But for him, too. I knew the whole world was going to bash me. I knew that. I said to myself, ‘What’s more important? My life and my happiness, or what the whole world thinks of me?’ [Staying married] would be vain. That would be fake. That would be doing it for publicity.”

I suppose that from inside the very peculiar bubble of reality TV, fame, and that signature Kardashian-brand of exploitation magic, it all makes sense.
