‘My Imaginary Well-Dressed Toddler Daughter’ Is Amazingly Hilariously Awful

Pinterest My Imaginary Well Dressed Toddler DaughterMy love/hate relationship with Pinterest is well documented here but I am back to loving it again thanks to this amazing “My Imaginary Well-Dressed Toddler Daughter” board which has to be the funniest thing I have seen in a long time. My pal Jeanne Sager re-tweeted this yesterday and I needed to share it with you guys.

I love kid’s fashion. I have chilled out a lot but I have in the past been known to spend way too much money on a pair of baby socks. I think when you are a new parent you do stuff like this because babies and toddlers are way too fun to dress and everything is just too damn cute. Too many times I have bought an ensemble for my daughter and wished they made it in actual adult sizes. But we all know parents who just take this way too far and their children are perfectly art-directed little runway stars and that is even more annoying than seeing a kid with ice cream all over their shirt. Plus, how creepy is it when you page through Vogue Bambini and see 4-year-olds wearing makeup? I adore kid’s clothing and I swoon over J’Crew’s Crewcuts with the best of them, but I still love kids wearing clothes they can just be kids in, ice cream stains and all. But this Pinterest board is still hilarious, and it’s all about a terribly fashionable imaginary toddler named Quinoa and all of her sartorial choices.
