Paris Jackson ‘Physically Fine’ After Suicide Attempt, Has Understandably Never Recovered From Father’s Death

paris jacksonParis Jackson, late Michael Jackson‘s 15-year-old daughter, was hospitalized yesterday for an attempted suicide. The teenager is reportedly “physically fine,” according to her grandmother Katherine Jackson, but she has been outed as having depression issues linking back to when she lost her father in 2009.

Us Weekly reports the grisly details of Paris’s attempted suicide, as she reportedly left a suicide note, consumed 20 Motrin, and cut her wrists with a meat cleaver. A “source” tells the outlet, however, that Paris quickly changed her mind:

“I know Paris freaked out and regretted what she had done after she had done it,” the source tells Us. “That’s when she cried for help. That saved her life.”

A statement from Katherine on the incident describes Paris as “a sensitive 15-year-old,” alluding to the loss of her father as “los[ing] the person closest to you.”

Reported “insiders” claim that Michael’s eldest child has never recovered from losing him:

“This really all comes from her not yet over her dad being gone,” the insider says. “It’s been so hard to adjust to stepping back into the world.”

Another source said: “She has major depression issues, a lot of it stemming from her dad’s death. It’s very real and very sad. She has been extremely depressed and not been able to sleep lately, staying up all night.”

Hopefully the troubled kid will get the treatment she needs to adequately cope with losing a parent.
