I Don’t Know How She Does It starring Sarah Jessica Parker as a woman juggling career and family has finally hit theaters. And while the reviews have been lukewarm, we’re loving the discussion it provokes about work-life balance.

Mommyish editor-in-chief Shawna Cohen appeared on CityNews to weigh in on the subject. She talked about the challenges of striving to “have it all” and offered up some simple ways to make it less daunting, including trying to forget what your closest girlfriends are doing and instead focusing on what works for you (aiming for flexible work hours, for example, as opposed to part-time hours).
