Am I The Only One Who Finds Pregnant Miranda Kerr Googling ‘Baby Bonding Videos’ Funny?

Miranda KerrMiranda Kerr may be upheld as a model mama, whether it be on a billboard or even as Wonder Woman. But her birthing choices, like that of any lady, are her own to decide and contend with. The 29-year-old who famously described her natural childbirth as the moment in which she thought she was going to die shared with Harper’s Bazaar why she decided go au natural in the first place. Which, apparently, leads us to some particular corners of YouTube, I’m only guessing.

In the August issue, Miranda describes how she watched films of birthing women who had had epidurals — or “baby bonding videos” — ultimately deciding that she wanted something alternative for herself:

”I had been watching all these baby bonding videos and [without an epidural], when the baby comes out it goes straight onto the breast….The baby was a little bit drugged up and I was like, ”˜Well, I don’t want that,’” she recalls. ”I wanted to give him the best possible start in life I could.”

Perhaps I’m the only one who is tickled by the image of a pregnant Victoria’s Secret supermodel googling “baby bonding,” “epidural baby bonding, “birth epidural” and ending up in the far addictive abysses of YouTube. Telling herself she’ll just watch “one more” and then go about her model business. Like the tabloids say, stars, they really are just like us!
