Kanye West Stupidly Compares Paparazzi Stalking To ‘Rape’

Kanye West rape Can someone explain to me why I can’t understand how Kanye West keeps saying stupid stuff? It’s like every day I expect him to say something profound or meaningful and he keeps coming back with the most obnoxiously absurd nonsense and for some reason I cannot remember these simple facts of Kanyeism:

1: He may be talented, but dude is not so smart.

and

2: He needs to stop talking.

This latest bon mot Kanye threw down happened at the Wireless festival in London when Kanye did that thing where he stops rapping and subjects the helpless concert goers to his Kanye-wisdowm while accompanied with a keyboard. This time he dropped this logic on the audience:

”I want to bring my family to the movies without 30 motherf*****s following me. Everybody here, they like sex right? Sex is great when you and your partner are like, ”˜Hey, this is what we both want to do’.

”But if one of those people don’t want to do that, what is that called? That’s called rape. That is called violation.

Ugh, no. That’s not rape. That’s you deciding to be a famous celebrity and marrying another famous celebrity and the paparazzi trying to earn money by taking your photo. Yes, it’s lame and intrusive and unprofessional but it is NOT rape. Not rape not rape not rape. I think Kanye needs to spend some time with some rape survivors or read a book so he can understand why this is not rape. And this guy has a daughter, mind you.

Kanye then went on to say:

”I want my daughter to have that opportunity to decide whether she wants to be famous or not. I think to myself, what the f*** am I going to do, how can I change it and how can I give my daughter her childhood?”

And this is all a valid concern. But Kanye would probably do well to learn exactly why comparing a life he chose for himself as super-famous guy and having his photo snapped by annoying paparazzi is so not the same thing as people who are victims of sexual crimes. I think his daughter would benefit greatly from that.
