People Are Losing Their Minds Thinking Jessica Simpson Dyed Her Daughter’s Hair
It’s 2 days post-Halloween, and people are making their way through the costume round-ups. Celebrity costumes are always amazing, and this year was no exception! Obviously, there’s going to be drama, because we can’t have nice things. Today, people are up in arms over a photo posted to Jessica Simpson’s Instagram account. The photo is of Jessica and her family, all done up for Halloween. Their costumes are AMAZING. But it’s a noticeable change to little Maxi’s hair that has people wondering if Jessica Simpson dyed her daughter’s hair for Halloween. Judgey McJudgeypants is going to crack the case, guys.
So, is it possible Jessica Simpson dyed her kid’s hair for Halloween? We suppose. It’s also possible that people overreact to every goddamn thing.

First of all, Jessica as Willie Nelson is everything. The beard is so realistic! Maxi is dressed as Belle, a favorite for kids this year. But her normally light blonde hair is considerably darker. Internet sleuths were all over it.
Yes, why would someone do that? And why would one automatically assume that she did?
I mean, we get being dedicated to the holiday, but yikes. People really went there.
Plenty of commenters were quick to jump to Jessica’s defense, though. Maybe because they realize that no, she probably didn’t dye her young child’s hair for the sake of a costume. Because, you know, they’re not insane.
Also, if you look at a closeup of Maxi’s hair, you can actually still see the blonde mixed in with the obviously temporary brown color.
It wouldn’t be Halloween without someone being offended by something. So we guess this qualifies? God forbid a mom do a cool thing to make her kid’s costume more realistic. And honestly, Maxi probably asked! So do we really think Jessica Simpson dyed her kid’s hair? No. Do we think people love to get all worked up about shit that doesn’t concern them? Oh hell yeah.
