Reddit Dads Answer A Question About Moms After Motherhood And Get Ready To Swoon

166053571Parenthood totally robs your identity. Well, it did mine for many years, and now that my kids are a bit older I’m stating to finally remember who I was. But becoming a mom is scary, isn’t it? Not only are you in charge of a whole new human, but it can mess with your self-esteem and your identity and if we are being totally honest here, how your partner perceives you and how you view your partner. This is why I am so in love with this question posted to Reddit, and some of the replies that follow.

It’s sort of a scary question, but the replies are nothing short of heart melting:

Do you have something in your eye? I MAY HAVE SOMETHING IN MY EYE.

Of course, the conversation moves towards the whole EW VULVA MY PARTNER’S LADY JUNK WILL NEVER LOOK THE SAME. But until then we can all just swoon over some of these replies and realize that yeah, sometimes becoming a mom make those who got us into this mess love us a whole lot more.

I hope all these wives and partners see these responses, because it’s just the sweetest. And it’s not even Valentine’s Day yet!

I think we’d all like to think that our others would respond the same, but I have never asked my man this question personally. Maybe it’s just dads are this sweet when they think no one is looking.

Now who wants to answer how you view your own partner after having a baby?
