Gwyneth Paltrow Did Not Have A Grand Old Time At The Met Ball

They say motherhood changes a person and that may even extend to Gwyneth Paltrow. Despite that the mother of two has spent the better part of her career walking up and down red carpets, wearing pricey gowns, and posing for flashy cameras, at least one of those events is getting old — or rather “un-fun.” The Met Gala.

 Maria Guido, you’re officially not the only lady who has become high maintenance due to motherhood.

After the fancy punk-themed event, Gwyneth told USA Today that she will be scratching the event off her 2014 calendar. Say it isn’t so Gwyneth:

“I’m never going again. It was so un-fun. It was boiling. It was too crowded. I did not enjoy it at all,” says Paltrow.

I do indeed hear the distinct disdain of someone who would have rather spent the night in sweatpants watching DirectTV and eating ice cream sandwiches.

Fair enough. You know you’ve reached the big 4-0 with two kids under your belt, approaching your 10th year of marriage, if you would have rather kicked it at home with the fam and Chinese food than go rub elbows with Anna Wintour. Between the big poofy pink dress, the professional hair and makeup, the sitter coordination, even a night out with your bestie Beyonce can seem just too overwhelming.

But seriously, you and Maria Guido should go grab pedicures sometime.
