Gallery: 10 Great Family Vacations To Take Away Your Winter Blues

After the bright lights of the holidays and the excitement of New Years have calmed down, I only have one thing on my mind. Vacation. There’s something about January (that something is probably the bitter cold weather) that makes me ready to pack our bags and head for a more exciting locale.

And I’m not the only one. Even if you can’t get away from work so quickly after the holidays, now is the perfect time to start planning your summer getaway. We all need something to look forward to, right? There’s no denying that planning and anticipating your vacation are part of the fun. Maybe I’m just an oddball, but I can spend hours visiting resort websites and creating entire itineraries for trips I would like to take in the future.
