Jessica Simpson Faked Being A Mom To Some Strange Baby For OK Magazine – Parents Of Strange Baby Sue

Couple Sues Jessica Simpson For Stealing Their Baby Photo Jessica Simpson is such a little entrepreneur! Not only is the star worth something like one billion dollars, she is also known for selling the first photos of her baby daughter, Maxwell Drew, for eight hundred thousand dollars to People magazine. But this amount of money was obviously not money enough so Jessica devised a plan with OK Magazine to make more money off of her “first baby pics” of Drew, by using some strange baby Jessica has no relation to on the magazine cover. From Nola.com:

Jessica Simpson, OK! magazine and a photography business took a picture of a Louisiana couple’s son with the celebrity from Lakeside Shopping Center in Metairie without the couple’s permission then published it in such a way as to suggest the child was hers, according to a lawsuit the couple has filed. The photo was published in the April 16, 2012, edition of the weekly magazine, according to the suit, filed in the 24th Judicial District Court in Gretna by an attorney for the infant’s father, Christopher Hurst of Jefferson Parish, and mother, Tracy Gregory of Lafourche Parish.

So what happened was Christopher Hunt was at a meet and greet at a shopping mall and holding his infant son while his teen daughter waited in line to meet Simpson. When it came their turn, someone suggested Simpson hold Mr. Hunt’s baby and photographers grabbed snaps. When OK mag offered Simpson a cover, she took it:

North, the plaintiff’s attorney, alleges that a competing publication paid Simpson $800,000 for the rights to publish the first photographs of her actual child. He also cites unnamed but “widely reported” allegations that OK! magazine has paid “multiple millions of dollars” to other celebrities for rights to first publish photos of their children.

“In the case of Christopher Hurst, OK! magazine paid him nothing, despite clear intention to mislead some or all of the consuming public into believing the photograph on the cover of the subject issue was actually Simpson’s first child,” North wrote. Simpson’s first child had not yet been born when the photo was taken.

So all you celeb mamas out there, if you offer the rights of the first snaps of your baby to be sold to one publication, and yet you still wanna make bank from other magazines, just use a pic of some strange baby you don’t even know and pass it off as your own. Babies are babies! No one will ever be able to tell the difference unless the parents of the strange baby happen to see the magazine cover! The parents of the baby that does not belong to Simpson are seeking 75,000 dollars in damages. I think they should seek whatever Jessica was paid for this cover for their infant being subjected to this sleaze-fest.
