Something We All Can Agree on: Melania Trump Thanks Chelsea Clinton for Defending Barron
Our country is pretty divided right now, but if there’s one thing everyone can agree on it’s that minor children of the President are off-limits. First Children didn’t run for office or even ask for the spotlight, and they deserve privacy. That’s why when The Daily Caller ran a gross article this week about Barron Trump, it caused immediate outrage. Former First Daughter Chelsea Clinton sprang to Barron’s defense, prompting the First Lady to thank her on Twitter.
The Daily Caller’s stupid article was titled, “It’s High Time Barron Trump Starts Dressing Like He’s In the White House.” I’m pretty sure the White House residence doesn’t have a dress code and also? Barron is eleven. GOD FORBID he dress like a kid!
Luckily for Barron and humanity, the article is being massively dragged online. He also has the support of someone who’s been in his shoes: Chelsea Clinton.
Bill and Hillary’s daughter responded with this fantastic tweet:

Chelsea’s words didn’t go unnoticed. Barron’s mother, First Lady Melania Trump, tweeted her gratitude.

When Chelsea’s father was President, she was subjected to nasty jabs from the media. People made fun of her hair, while Rush Limbaugh even compared her to a dog. She was only 13 years old.
After leaving the White House, Clinton has made it a point to chide the media whenever they go after a President’s young children. She’s defended the Bush twins, the Obama sisters, and now Barron. It just goes to show that decency is a non-partisan trait.
And again, Barron is ELEVEN. Can we all just let him live?
